Healing...one day at a time!

Yeah...I finally did it. I've been really thinking about doing this blog thing for quite some time. Of course, time is always a factor...when am I going to actually sit and write something down? I hope I am able to keep in touch with loved ones I'm far from using pictures and thoughts all at the same time. So, here it goes...I have been doing very well in California so far. It's a rainy Saturday afternoon, there's chicken soup on the stove and the boys are watching cartoons. I'm not sure how long I have but I'd like to share something with you! I have been doing everything I can to get through each day, one day at a time. I feel that I will be doing this for the rest of my life! But, God is faithful each and every day. As Beth Moore teaches..."New strength for a new day!" That has truly been my driving force every day as I wonder what my purpose is in this thing we call life. I heard this song on the radio the other day and WEPT! I can't even get through two lines of the lyrics without weeping every time I read it! It is very much me, I don't know how a complete stranger can write words to a song that depicts the very inside of me! It just goes to show that I, and whoever is reading this (you), are NOT ALONE when we're in the fire. There are people all over this planet who are broken just like us. Praise God for songwriters who are sensitive to the spirit of God when writing a song like this...just praying and believing that someone, somewhere will be blessed by it. I AM DEFINITELY THAT SOMEONE, and I pray you are as well!
